Celebrate Christmas with OTCC!

A Note from Pastor Phil:

Dear OTCC Family,

Happy Christmas to you and yours! I am really glad that you have chosen to make OTCC a part of your 2020 Christmas. Our Christmas series theme this year is titled A Weary World Rejoices, which is a phrase from the classic Christmas carol, O Holy Night. Each message in this series will be based on a biblical text that gives depth and meaning to some of the lyrics.

I think we would all agree that our world is indeed weary as we close out 2020. As Christians we know that the hope, love, joy and peace of Jesus are just the gifts our weary world needs. It is my hope and prayer that God will use this special song and series to draw you closer to the side of Jesus this Christmas.

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn,

November 29—A thrill of hope (Advent Hope)

December 6—His law is love and his gospel is peace (Advent Peace)

December 13—Sweet hymns of joy (Advent Joy)

December 20—And the soul felt its worth (Advent Love)

December 24—The weary world rejoices (Christmas Eve)

December 25—For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn (Christmas Day)

P.S. Watch the video below to hear the fascinating backstory of O Holy Night.
