Dr. Andre D. Ivy is the Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Marshall Heights in Washington, DC. He serves on the Executive Board of the Baptist Convention of Washington, DC and Vicinity.
Dr. Ivy has earned degrees from Lincoln University, PA; University of Pittsburgh; Virginia Union University and a Doctorate of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. He also serves on the faculty of Missio Seminary in Philadelphia, PA teaching courses in the area of Pastoral Counseling.
Dr. Ivy worked as a psychotherapist for 20 years serving individuals, groups and families. He is dedicated to ensuring that there is a healthy balance between theology, behavioral and mental health.
He is married to the former Ramona McWhite and they have one lovely daughter.
