Welcome to Old Town Kids!

Our children’s ministry program is designed to help children ages 0 through 5th grade, and their families, know Jesus and grow closer to God. What are we doing? Take a look!

Learning Together

On Sunday mornings we have classes for children ages 0 through 5th grade. The classes are designed to meet children where they are developmentally and spiritually. Children will learn more about God and the Bible through hands-on lessons taught by dedicated teachers. Class time includes lots of play, conversation, and special activities relating to the lesson, like crafts and games.

Learning from Home

For families that prefer to worship from home right now (or families just looking for additional resources to supplement Sunday morning classes) we have weekly video children’s messages that air during our Sunday morning services and are available to stream anytime on our Old Town Kids YouTube channel. These children’s messages preview and pair with weekly at-home lessons that parallel what children are learning in our classrooms and are flexible: your family can use these resources with more or less structure — whatever works for you. We also provide additional resources for special seasons of the Church calendar, like Advent and Lent.

Growing Together

We believe ministry goes beyond Sunday mornings and beyond the walls of our church building. From fall festivals and Easter egg hunts to gathering in local parks and opportunities to serve our community, you’ll find the families of Old Town Kids getting together to grow in relationships with one another. Join us! Learn more about upcoming events by signing up for our Old Town Kids email list.

Parents and Caregivers

Caring for kids includes caring for the people raising them! Feel supported as a caregiver and connect with other adults through table groups, family events, and our Old Town Kids Facebook group. Contact Sarah to learn more.

Our children’s ministry is supported by children’s ministry director Sarah Hoysa and a team of volunteers committed to supporting children and families at OTCC. Scroll down to see more of what we’re up to lately!

COVID-19 Update (January 1, 2022): Our children’s classrooms are closed during the months of January and February following recommendations from our local health department in an effort to prevent significant spread of COVID-19. We will be providing regular updates by email. Learn more, access materials, or subscribe to our email list below.

Video Children’s Messages

Each Sunday our worship service includes a message made just for kids! These are also available to stream anytime on our Old Town Kids YouTube channel. Our children’s messages correspond with the content children are learning in person in our classrooms as well as the lessons families are invited to use while worshiping from home.
