Nominations are now being received for members to serve on the Servant Leadership Council, Diaconate, and the Discernment Task Group. The term for all three groups is three years. All individuals nominated should be members in good standing. A brief description of each group follows. A more detailed description of responsibilities and commitments in the OTCC Constitution and By-laws is available upon request.

Servant Leadership Group (SLC): The SLC serves in the role of Board of Directors for OTCC. They are responsible for the strategic direction and spiritual health and welfare of the church. They are also charged with overseeing the legal, business, financial and administrative affairs of the church, providing oversight and accountability for the Senior Pastor and general oversight of all OTCC personnel in coordination with the Senior Pastor. They must be at least 21 years of age and committed to the mission, values and overall support of the church and a member of OTCC for at least one year. Submit up to 3 names.

Deacons: Deacons care for the church in a variety of ways, from crisis care to welcoming new members to supporting in aspects of worship, such as communion and baptisms. Deacon nominees must be OTCC members for at least one full year prior to being nominated. Submit up to 5 names.

Discernment Task Group (DTG): The DTG facilitates the nomination and election of all OTCC leadership roles that require election by the church. The DTG will solicit names for positions from the congregation, prayerfully consider the nominees, interview qualified nominees, and present candidates to the church for election. The DTG is seasonal in nature and their work coincides with the annual church meeting (usually held at some point between November-January). Group members are to be familiar with the ministries of the church and available to attend DTG meetings either in person or via video conference. Submit up to 3 names.
