Planning a Visit to OTCC?
We look forward to meeting you! Learn more below about what you can expect when you visit OTCC:
What to Expect on a Sunday Morning
-
Location
Our address is 212 South Washington Street, Alexandria, Virginia, 22314. OTCC is located in the heart of Old Town, Alexandria, a thriving community of homes, shopping, and restaurants. After worship on Sunday, you may want to visit one of the many restaurants in our community or enjoy a walk by the Potomac River in one of Old Town’s beautiful parks.
-
Parking
We will provide you with free parking in Old Town! Everyone is welcome to park in the garage located at 111 South Pitt Street on Sundays, and the parking is free until 3PM. When you park your car you will receive a ticket. Make sure to bring the ticket into the church to be validated by a greeter.
During the week there is free two hour parking on the streets nearby or you can pay to park directly in front of our building.
-
When you arrive
Our greeters will offer you a warm welcome and assist you in finding your way around our facility.
-
Come as you are
There is no dress code. Some people will be wearing t-shirts, others will be wearing collared shirts. Come as you are.
-
Security
The safety and comfort of everyone who attends our church is important to us. Our team works thoughtfully behind the scenes to help provide a welcoming, peaceful, and well-prepared environment for worship, fellowship, children’s ministry, and other events.
We regularly review our procedures, coordinate with local resources when appropriate, and encourage awareness and care for one another. Thank you for helping us maintain a warm, respectful, and safe community for all.
-
Giving
There is no pressure or compulsion to give money. If you would like to give to support the ministries of OTCC, there are offering boxes located in our foyer and sanctuary, and many in our congregation give online.
-
Service
Our Sunday morning service is at 11 a.m and lasts about an hour. You’ll experience a worship service that seeks to connect deeply with God and encourage you for everyday life.
-
Children
Children are always welcome in our worship services, and we also have classes for children during worship. Learn more here.
