Volunteer
Regathering Task Group
Interested in helping out as we make plans to regather for Sunday morning worship? We are seeking volunteers to serve in one or both of the following ways:
- Serve as part of our planning team ahead of actual regathering. Be a part of conversations about how and when we safely regather and what we need to do to make it happen.
- Serve as a Sunday morning volunteer when we begin regathering. We’re looking for volunteers who can help by greeting, by taking temperatures, by showing people to their seats, by making sure families with small children know the resources available to them (activity bags, rooms for use), and more!
If you’d like to be a part of our regathering task group, use the button to the right to get started signing up.

Prepare dinner for the Carpenter’s Shelter!
OTCC volunteers provide dinner for Carpenter’s Shelter residents on the second Saturday of each month. This is a great volunteering opportunity for Bible study groups, table groups, families, or neighbors to serve together.
Due to Covid-19, volunteers can either drop off dinner or stay and serve it. Dinner needs to be delivered by 5:30 pm and serving starts at 6 pm. Dinner can be prepared at the shelter in their new kitchen, or if you prefer to prepare at home and deliver, that’s an option, too.
Open Table | Every Wednesday at 6:00 a.m.
We are currently serving bagged breakfasts and lunch to go from 6:00 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. on Wednesdays. Volunteers we welcome to help distribute food and coffee on Wednesdays, prepare food during the week, and pick up donated items on Tuesdays. E-mail Brian at bhoysa@oldtown.cc to volunteer.
